This app works great most of the time
I’ve purchased your app. It works great. Can you show me how to block/hide a specific banner on a website?
Update: I’m mow able to block the banner as your instructions. When I accidentally click on the banner, safari will not open its webpage anymore. That’s good, that’s what I wanted. But I also want the banners to be hidden. If I use the “block content”, the banners will be block but it’s still visible. How can I hide it?

Thank you for the review. Blocking/hiding a banner on a website requires inspecting the webpage to find the resource or element that needs to be blocked or hidden. Sometimes you might be able to do it by looking at where the banner is linking to. For example, if a banner is linking to www.example.com then you can use a "Block Content" custom rule and enter the term example in the "URL Filter". This will block all banners that link to www.example.com and has the term example somewhere in the URL.
Roadblock for Mac has a visual tool that makes it easy to do what you described. You can select resources or elements on a webpage and custom rules are automatically generated. We are working on bringing it to iOS and it will hopefully be useful.
Update: Good to know. For hiding, you need a "Hide Content" custom rule. Leave the "URL Filter" in the custom rule empty and enter the appropriate CSS selector for the element. Here are two examples for generic selectors that hide links and images on our website.
1) a[href*="ipad"]
2) img[src*="mac"]
You can try changing the ipad and mac terms to something else and that might work.
