Description
This application is an editor for Soundsculpture Switchblade devices. If you do not have a Switchblade this will be useless to you however, you can put this application into a Mock mode to play with it. The edit functions are done over MIDI connections. SBEdit does not currently support USB direct communication. You must connect to the 5Pin MIDI connectors on the Switchblade.
The CME Midi Master Bluetooth device works great. You can also connect USB MIDI interfaces with the correct adaptor to lighting or USBC. Please note that all MIDI interfaces handle Sysex differently causing issues in different areas. MOTU micro lite has perfectly. Several cheap USB MIDI adaptors have been tested with mixed results.
Supported Switchblades:
- ET
- 8F
- GL Firmware 6.41
The 8/8B do not currently work.
