Create Your Own Personal Style

#NoFilter? Yeah, right. If, like many, you’re a filter fanatic, sharing a snap without an image-enhancing overlay is a major no-no. Yes, there are loads of great editing apps out there to help in this pursuit, but Infltr is different.

It removes the intimidation factor that can come with customising your own photo filters. It also lets you add your effects in real time. As in, before you’ve even captured your shot.

Look through your device’s camera within the Infltr app, and you can tweak your tones and change your colour balance live, watching in real time as these alterations are placed directly onto the section of the world you’re capturing. To keep things simple, you can toggle between 15 pre-set filters during the capture process, or, if your creative juices are flowing, you can go off-piste and create your own.

Infltr lets you edit photo filters by moving your finger on the touchscreen. It’s easy and fun.

To do this, a row of icons below your image offer access to all the menus and sliders you’ll need to generate the perfect look. Experienced photographers will feel at home here, but less experienced users won’t be overwhelmed.

Instead, you can select the element you’re looking to tweak, be it brightness or contrast, vignette or saturation, then simply slide to set the level you want. All changes occur instantly, and you can even move your finger across the image itself to implement the alterations.

Colours will shift from vibrant to muted, shadows will fade away or darken, all depending on the direction you move your finger. It’s a simple and fun way to find a style that’s all your own.

You’re not restricted to on-the-fly filter choices either. You can also choose any photo, GIF, video or Live Photo from your camera roll that you want to add a filter to.

When you find a look you like, tapping the plus button lets you save your customised filter for future use, across all your devices. With the added ability to export your edits to Instagram, Tumblr, Giphy or Adobe Creative Cloud, your visual vibes will never have got so many likes.
