This is a multi-track video editor with stacks of powerful, professional-quality features.
Let’s start with the tracks. Your project can contain three video/audio tracks you can use for video, images, titles, graphics or audio and a further three audio-only tracks for narration, music and effects.
It’s easy to edit, move and trim content and anchor clips to specific markers, and there are tonnes of transitions for smooth movement between sections.
The app supports chroma keying for green/blue screenwork, and it also offers slo-mo and super-fast motion up to 240fps, keyframe animation and a range of layer effects to create very complex video. The audio mixer is great too, with live mixing, auto-ducking to prevent music from drowning out narration or dialogue, and effortless fading and audio effects.
One of our favourite features is the ability to import media not just from your iPhone or iPad’s storage, but from wireless drives and from online services too. You can also subscribe to the optional Storyblocks service to access thousands of royalty-free clips, images, tunes and effects.
