If you had a big exam coming up, one which could determine the course of your future, how would you prepare for it?

You’d at least spend the night before burning the midnight oil, getting together with friends to run through exam notes, or even using apps for help with last-minute revision. But that’s not the case in Bad Genius: The Series, which is streaming now on WeTv.

Based on the critically acclaimed movie, Bad Genius: The Series explores some unorthodox methods of exam prep: namely coming up with mind-blowing methods of cheating.

The series’ narrative revolves around a group of entrepreneurial youngsters who are making a business out of helping students cheat in a national exam.

Unlike the original movie which unfolds from the students’ point of view, Bad Genius: The Series explores the perspectives of teachers and parents too, while also touching on controversial issues within the education system. Throw in some family drama on top, and you have yourself a thoroughly entertaining series from start to finish.

A Thai production at heart, Bad Genius: The Series features a former BNK48 member, Juné Plearnpichaya, alongside major stars from the Thai silver screen such as Saksit Tangthong, Ice Paris and Jaonaay Jinjett.

Good news: you can catch the series on WeTV now for free! For non-Thai speakers, the app provides subtitles, and while you wait for the next episode to be released, you can also explore WeTV’s wide variety of TV shows.

Cheating in any exam is definitely not advisable, but watching Bad Genius: The Series on WeTV is highly recommended.
