The latest version of Affinity Publisher adds sophisticated features for ensuring consistent formatting, collaborating with other contributors and working with especially large documents. You can also edit your projects using the brand-new iPad version of the app.

What we love: How easy Affinity Publisher makes it for multiple people to collaborate on long projects such as books or other publications. Each designer can work on their own Publisher document; when it’s time to bring all the pieces together, the app makes it a snap to assemble everything into a single project that automatically updates page numbers, indexes and a table of contents. Text and object styles are shared across the documents to ensure consistency throughout the entire project.

Quick tip: The new Style Picker tool lets you copy formatting from one section of your document and apply it to another. Click an object or text area to load the picker with attributes such as stroke, fill, character and paragraph settings, layer opacity and layer effects, then select another object or text area to apply the same characteristics.
