Description

The EMpowering Pregnant Women and people Receiving medications for opioid use disorder (EMPWR) mobile application is a free app to support pregnant and postpartum individuals taking buprenorphine for the treatment of opioid use disorder. The EMPWR app is intended to be used in conjunction with the EMPWR therapy program under the direction of a licensed mental health professional. The app also includes education on using buprenorphine during pregnancy, perinatal health, and infant and parenting information, as well as coping skills, methods to improve sleep in pregnancy and after childbirth, and recovery and treatment resources.

Use of this application does not establish a doctor-patient relationship between you and the Medical University of South Carolina, the National Institutes of Health, or any affiliated intuitions. Persons using this application assume full responsibility for the use of this application and agree that the Medical University of South Carolina or any affiliated institutions are not responsible or liable for any claims, losses, or harms arising from use of this application.
