Too large, too small, curved, lumpy or speckled specimens ended up in the cattle feed, in the biogas plant or in the dump – instead of on the store shelf. Fortunately, a large number of these unnecessary rules have now been abolished. But still about 30% of our food goes to waste.

The quirky carrot, the curvy cucumber and the extravagant eggplant-triplets play the lead in this memory game. They are beautiful. Precisely because of their marvellous, unusual features. They are tasty and healthy as well, just like their straight, smoothed and perfectly symmetrical counterparts that can be found in the supermarket.

This game consists of 24 pairs of vegetables and fruit. Try to match each pair. Be aware: look carefully! Every image is unique, no pair looks alike.
