You can either play by the book, or rip it apart and write your own. But which direction will you take?
Poly Bridge is a building simulator that challenges players to craft bridges on a limited budget and materials. Build it however you like; as long as it gets cars from point A to B, you get a pass.
Different scenarios will test your wits and budgeting skills to their limits. For harbours, your bridge could require hydraulic pistons to provide clearance for boats and ferries; other instances will require see-saw style constructions.
Sometimes your budget will be so tight you won’t have enough to build a complete bridge. As a workaround, you may have to catapult commuters’ cars across. Don’t worry, the ends justify the means, and who doesn't want to see a car, lorry or moped try to jump a gorge?
The game’s challenge and charm stems from its true-to-life physics. That’s why there are no set solutions – any method is fair game. And if you’ve figured out a particularly genius way to tackle a level, you can use the game's record function to share your solution with friends for some extra bragging rights.
So, will you build an engineering marvel, or the world’s flimsiest bridge?
