While I love the modern concept of driving in and the booms opening automatically / not having to queue to pay parking tickets etc., the app to manage everything is poorly designed.

PLEASE FIX YOUR APP. Every time I open the app, I need to login. Then when I try to scan the codes for free parking allocation at gym etc, I need to allow access to my camera, after which the scan fails, and so I need to restart the process. It’s very time consuming, and at this point, it’s quicker just to use a normal ticket, which defeats the whole purpose of this system.

Great idea, poor execution.

I’m not surprised by the 2 rating. Don’t use this APP. It has more challenges and rarely works adding to one’s frustration. 1) It opens the boom. After gym when I scan to validate, there’s no active session. How did I get in if there’s no active session? 2) It opens the boom. After gym, when I scan to validate, it refuses to scan to validate even after several attempts. Way to frustrating and money is deducted from your card. 3) If you use the ticket system, you always have some time to get to your car. Not with admyt. Payment is deducted immediately from your card. 4) When raising issues with them so their technical support can look into it, nothing gets done about it and your frustration with this useless APP continues. 5) You get logged out of the APP automatically. The boom opens, but thereafter nothing works on the APP to scan to validate parking. I am no longer using this APP and I am back with the trusted ticket system where you know what you get.

I’ve not had many issues with the boom not opening as many of the reviews here state. I think perhaps only twice in the earlier days out of hundreds. Can’t speak much to the app itself as I only used it when I signed up to add a CC. No issues though.

Edit: adjusting my earlier review from years ago. They really need to add ‘pause’ functionality or something to that effect. I often go through to meetings at the V&A where my parking gets validated, but the app doesn’t cater for that, so each time I go there I have to remove my car from the app and add it back on after. Support said they’re working on something, but it’s simply taking too long.
