Each subscription will be automatically renewed unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current payment period. Your iTunes account will be automatically charged at the same price for renewal within the 24-hour period prior to the end of the current payment period unless you change your subscription preferences in your iTunes Account Settings. When a subscription is cancelled, access to the app’s courses and features will expire at the end of the current payment period.

Absolutely Brilliant
This app is really premium. I really recommend upgrading to a full subscription if you are serious about learning a language and you are diligent. It has plenty of resources, from podcasts, stories, exercises, and even speaking classes with tutors. The rest is really up to you, this is all the tools you need, especially if you aren’t in the position to be in the country the language is spoken.
One recommendation I would make is that there should be a section where one can review German rules at will and a level test. This would help.

Overall a very good app.
Very structured learning and ordered presentation of lessons that build on material learned earlier in a clear manner. I recommend this app mostly because of how extremely organised their content is and they clearly label the theoretical concepts (also when they have English equivalents) so you can research them more online if you want to. It beats Duolingo in this regard by many miles.
The developers of the app need to find a way to program more dynamic revision exercises. The revision exercises, sentences, flash cards etc. are constant and while there’s value in repeating something when learning, you also don’t get the chance to see if you’ve either only just crammed the concept or actually understand it. I like that they’re constant hut it would be good to try new problems also.

Systematic and rewarding
Babbel is my favourite language-learning app. It is systematic and thoughtfully put together, giving you a grasp of the building blocks of a language and a sense of progress, while also helping you learn in a natural way. These two things – structured learning and natural acquisition – are not easy to achieve at the same time. Babbel does it well.
I hope to see even more material per language and hopefully more languages in the near future. Keep up the good work, Babbel.
