Stable but lacks features
Great, stable app :-)
Thing is navigation features are a bit clumsy and some could be added, as you’ve got it for other platforms.
A few examples:
A “next episode” button in the player navigation would be great.
Sometimes the count down for the next episode starts too soon, other times you’ve got to skip ahead.
Presenting the seasons in a way that you can just move along the seasons in one bar and see the episodes below. Currently on Apple TV you have to scroll all the way across to the season, open it and then only can you look for an episode. A lot of back and forth. (LG & firestick apps afford this)
Forwarding and “rewinding” rather slow - on my LG tv app and firestick it’s possible to increase speed up to x 64, Apple TV only x4

Some great shows. App needs a lot of work.
After much anticipation BritBox finally made it to South Africa. Really enjoying some of the classic British shows. But the app needs a lot of work. For starters a multi user profile system would have been nice. But the biggest issue is fact that I can barely watch anything. Every time I want to play an episode it tells me “selected resources not available”. I have to try and play an episode multiple times before it actually plays. Also, it would have been nice if it included complete seasons of shows. My Family for example has 11 seasons but only 5 are available on the app. Unfortunately I had to let my trial period lapse without renewal. Hope they can sort out the issues.

I don’t have any of the issues that others are experiencing on either my iPad or TV. I would give it 5 stars, but for a few small gripes. Would like to have all the seasons available on the shows on the app. Would also like to have programs such as Father Ted or ‘Allo ‘Allo available. Would also like the option to download a program for watching offline.
