Great that sign in isn’t required before placing an order. I like the auto population of my location for delivery address. Your reset password process is so convenient - SMS OTP is a much better option over an email link. It’s a bit confusing to see payment method on the checkout screen when card detail capturing only happens on the next screen. Also, I’d prefer being pushed back to the cart/checkout after changing my password from there, not on the landing screen.
App need work
I have been ordering online for a few years. I have had my fair share of terrible service. I stopped ordering anything from debonairs because of continuous bad service and when I call to complain nothing gets done about it. The problem I am facing now is that since I’ve decided to order again because I moved to another town I’m hoping that specific store was a problem and not the company as a whole. The cellphone number to log in cannot be changed under the profile menu. So now I have to log in and order using a number that is no longer in use and possibly belongs to someone else. The robot chat is pathetic no help at all. I ordered and then it shows that the order left the store, after a while I need to rate the delivery and order shows complete. Almost two hours before I received my order. Pathetic service!
Suggestion: Do not allow the driver to be able to mark the delivery as complete. Leave it to the customer. They mark delivery as complete and we receive our orders hours later unable to tell whether it is delivered to another premises etc, and we’ve paid for it online already. The call centre is unable to track the delivery and all the store says is that the order was assigned to a driver. The drivers abuse the app by falsely marking delivery as complete. Do not allow them to do that, we will mark it as received. Allow us to track our orders
Poor Customer Service
If There was an option for zero would have rated you zero. Your customer service is pathetic! And so are your drivers. I ordered a pizza an hour ago the next thing on the app it asks me to rate the delivery when I didn’t even get the pizza, I called the call centre to inquire the agent dropped the line and she didn’t even help me!! I then called the store (which took long for them to even answer) the cashier advised me the driver was still at the store when I spoke to him he lied and said he was there but he did not come! I asked him why didn’t he call me, he could not answer that. He promised he was gonna come again I literally waited for 2hours and he never pitched. I called the store again they told me he had left 15 min ago I asked for his number when I called him his phone was off. It has been 4 full hours now and I still have not received my pizza!!
