I’ve been using the dstv stream app now for a few years. This last update ruined the navigation and trying to find sport programs. It’s impossible to find Tour de France or other sport programs. You have to use the search bar. So if you search for the incorrect word you won’t find it. Also, you can’t browse because they only show the shows that they want you to see, which may not be what you want to watch. Browsing has really gone down the drain. Also EPG I find on ch206 totally wrong. It’s different to what is showing. What’s interesting is that the EPG is correct on decoder but wrong on the streaming app. If it wasn’t for my wife, I would have dropped dstv years ago.

The screen cast doesn't pick up tv's on my local network even though local network access is enabled in settings. The stream also goes blank when I try screen mirror from my phone to my TV using the in built/ native iOS screen mirroring - am guessing this behaviour is actually deliberate. (I would just use the DStv app on my TV or Apple TV but those seem to have their own issues with live rugby in that they frequently lag for a second after which the audio remains desynced until I restart the stream. And buffering doesn't seem to help. Also fwiw the web app doesn't help either as that also goes blank when I try screen cast.)The only reason I have DStv is to stream rugby half a dozen times a year. I can't even do that at the moment so the app gets one star.EDIT: I am out of town today and tried screen casting to my projector from within the app. Unfortunately this too does not work, I get the error "Copyright content cannot be mirrored". I have more than 5 streaming apps on my phone and DStv is the only one that does this.

The app I most want to work and that works the worst! Terrible developers!!! Worst buffering algorithms. Live sport is the main reason ppl get this subscription and it is shockingly bad at doing that. It’s the most expensive streaming service available and they have the sport monopoly so they can charge it, but the product is awful!! Even worse on AppleTV. The latest updates have made it worse. Such a great feature to be able to rewind, pity there’s nothing to see, unless you like watching Minecraft sport! Pip would make this app insane, but please don’t add any more features until you get the steaming sorted. In fact please take some away if it helps.

By far the most difficult streaming App to navigate. On Each update you’ve written “better navigation” but it’s the complete opposite. I highly doubt you had the customers in my mind when you were developing this App in fact I think you guys are making this app bad on purpose. Unlike other streaming Apps Dstv has channels and one would think it would be so easy to find “channels” on the App but again you’ve updated the App and the channels option isn’t there. You need to start listening to your customers, you are competing with other streaming Apps and this can’t be what you are bringing to the table. I look forward to a better experience with the App that’s actually easy to navigate.

This app is an absolute nightmare. I don’t know how it made it past testing, because it barely functions. Streaming is constantly interrupted by buffering, and that’s if the app doesn’t crash first. Half the time it won’t even load, and when it finally does, the quality is awful—even with a strong Wi-Fi connection.I’ve reported issues, reinstalled, restarted—nothing works. Support is non-existent, and it feels like the developers have just abandoned the whole thing. It’s infuriating to pay for a service that doesn’t deliver even the most basic functionality.Honestly, there are way better options out there. This app has been a complete waste of time, energy, and money.

You still cant switch channels without disconnecting from a google chrome. Same with catchup between eps. How difficult can it be to resolve a very basic problem? The cheapest services can do it why not you? Dont tell me to chat to your customer service they are not developers. Also add a feature where you can actually see which devices are streaming at the same time because you say all streams have been reached yet there is one person on streaming on one device unless you count streaming to a chromecast as 2 streams (which i think you do) in which case you are scamming us.Also how can your rating be 4.6 - almost all I have read is 1-star???
