EZView - Video Surveillance 4+

This app is okay. What is odd is that it will give you an alert notification (alarm or event)... and then you respond by clicking the notification...it takes you to the app, but app is unaware of alarm/event. You have to then refresh a few times, and only then can you review the video of incident.

Also, I wish uniview could add alarm suppression. Insects at night flying at the infrared? Triggers motion! Or swopping from day to night shouldn’t trigger alarm!

Why not have an option that you need 2 triggering before a ‘legitimate’ event occurs and notification sent. We have birds and tree shadows moving! Suppression features please on NVR and here please!

The app and system keeps asking to upgrade, when the latest version is already installed. If the power goes out, all settings on the system is lost, even the current time and date is defaulted to the manufacture date. It also stops recording, which you only notice if you want to review an incident. It gives constant (as in seconds apart) false alarms for movement and line crossings until the cache is full. Even if movement and line alarms are deactivated, it still continues registering alarms. The time on the app and unit does not sync and seems to be set in different time zones, which makes reviewing any recorded video through the app a nightmare. I have never been able to adjust the functions on the device through the app, it gives a error, user has been locked message even though I am logged in and able to view the cameras through the app, I have to log into the device when I need to update the time, date and recording schedule because the device has reset itself. I mean, its just the worst... There is no info or support to resolve such issues, and I have gone as far as emailing the manufacturer to try find a solution, but received no response.

This app, and the associated camera hardware, is just super. Used it from all around the world to monitor my home. If an output contact was added to the camera to open a gate for example, this would be the perfect home user product. I have used a few systems that were far too complicated and endless issues. I love the price point and the value delivered
