Names & Surnames and the correct spelling thereof is essential to have an accurate data base with single copies of quality documents, NOT multiple corrected copies by users fixing Indexers careless faults.
Yes, we appreciate the work Indexers do, but not at the cost of doubling the number documents in FamilySearch where it impedes the efficient searching / finding a correct document.
Do this test:
Find documents with surname “Meiwe” all of them should have been “Merwe”
there is NO surname like “Meiwe”
Keep up the GOOD work, please reduce the BAD….
CV
I cannot find partners on Family Search any more and I do not find a way to delete children that are erroneously attached to parents. I can find spouses that can be detached, but not deleted, and certainly not children. I must say that the app is not as user friendly as it used to be. It has become very complicated and mistakes not easily fixed. Perhaps at seventy five, I am too technology challenged? Otherwise, besides other people messing up one’s family tree, it is a great service. How about making a link to obtain DNA kits?

I often find that additions made on Family Tree via the browser often do not reflect on this app, unless I delete the app and then reinstall it?
