IT’S AUTOMATIC - JUST ADD CAMERA FILM NEGATIVES:
1. Open a backlight source on your computer (or use the link provided in the app)
2. Hold the film strip vertically in front of the light
3. Long-press the capture button or simply say “Go” (if voice control is enabled)
4. See negatives magically scanned and images revealed
The app’s scanning algorithm automatically inverts colors and enhances the image so you get the best possible scans of your old film negatives.

Not bad!
Scanned negatives from the 1940’s - those from the old box cameras and the photos came out beautiful. Do not recommend for 35mm negatives in my own experience!

not great
Does not work great when comparing with the original photo unless you pay a high fee to “activate more features”. Features you cannot test out before you pay. No “free” features to test out.
They force you to pay fees otherwise they block you - even place a watermark over scanned pics if you screenshot it - looks like this app is zero free and all pay. I would not waste my money on it.
So far not happy / impressed and deleting the app.

As written in the App Store, this is an optional in-app purchase. In order to have access to all the features the app has to offer, you would need to subscribe. We offer different subscriptions for different needs. Feel free to reach out to support@photomyne.com and we'll gladly assist you to cancel and request a refund.
Not enough free scans to decide if you want to upgrade or not.
I’ve just downloaded the app. Tried it a couple of times. All the photos came out grainy. Deleted them all. Adjusted my screen to maximum light and wanted to try again, but it seems I’ve reached my limit for the day. Now why on earth would I want to upgrade when I don’t know if it is going to work properly? Stupid!

Thank you for the feedback. Hold the negative 2 inches (5 cm) away from the computer screen in order not to have the image pixelated. The camera needs to see the side holes to crop properly.
