Flying Mag on iPad

Have been a subscriber for many years and digital for at least 5 years. Have no problem downloading the monthly editions, the only complaint I have is that the mag does not remember where I stopped reading, so finding that place without physically marking via My Bookmarks is a drag. Why can the app not remember where I left off?

Avoid at ALL cost

I love the magazine, best content ever. I just wish I could read it. You have to restart the app about 10 to 15 times and then maybe it will load. Downloading the latest edition can take around 4 to 5 tries since the app crashes. Do not think you will quickly show a friend an interesting article. Simply avoid that since the app will never load. I have had this with so many versions of this app. There were times when it got a bit better but we are going back to the stone ages again wit the latest few updates to the app. Get into your car, go to the store, buy the mag. Will take less time than it will to launch the app.

I have been an avid FLYING reader and subscriber since the late 1960's, and using the Flying App every month for several years.
I travel a lot, so getting my FLYING every month on my I PAD, is a wonderful thing for me.
As a subscriber for both the hard copy and the digital version, I have never experienced any problems with downloading my monthly digital issue.
