Description
FordPass offers the ability to manage your vehicle right from your phone:
• Send convenient remote commands – Lock, unlock, and start your vehicle using complimentary remote vehicle controls (1) – when equipped with FordPass® Connect (2)
• Electric vehicle ownership support – Monitor charging progress and use Departure Times to pre-condition your battery and cabin (3)
• FordPass feature availability varies by vehicle and country. Images shown for illustrative purposes only
(1) Remote lock/unlock requires power door locks. Remote starting requires automatic transmission.
(2) FordPass Connect (optional on select vehicles), the FordPass App and complimentary Connected Service are required for remote features (see FordPass Terms for details). Connected service and features depend on compatible network availability. Evolving technology/cellular networks/vehicle capability may limit functionality and prevent operation of connected features. Connected service excludes Wi-Fi hotspot.
(3) Effectiveness of cabin conditioning may be reduced by extreme outside temperatures.

Works very well
Like the app, user friendly and nice to know exactly whats going for what on the vehicle.
My only thing is it needs a pin or face lock on app, due to anyone can open the app en get to the vehicle's operating menu to start or unlock.

New App but still no functionality
Having received the update that theres a new app to download with exciting new features and fixing everything that was wrong in the previous app, I eagerly went and downloaded the app, hoping that I will once again be experiencing the functionality I once had, until Ford had started taking it away on the previous app.
Luckily I had my reservations, which held true… still no functionality available anymore like being able to do remote start, fuel check, odometer check etc, which was a few of the features that are STILL BEING ADVERTISED AS BEING PART OF THIS APP!! I would’ve understood if it was a case of my vehicle not being Sync 3 capable(lower spec vehicle), but I have an Ecosport 2021 Titanium Auto for goodness sake, which is the top spec Ecosport you can buy!!!

It’s okay
Home Screen doesn’t show any picture of my car , probably because it’s a 2016 fiesta ST , all it say is year and model of my car, the vehicle tab doesn’t show anything then again probably because it’s a 2016 model .. only cool thing about this app is that I can see all the service history, but the repaired part’s description doesn’t expand if there is more text just cuts the text .. would be better if could be a bigger text area instead to see everything
