All Forge trails are digitised and attributed - by our team - with pinpoint accuracy and are regularly updated with input from local conservation agencies and trail managers. With live GPS location, localised emergency contacts and calls, and the ability to download offline maps you can explore with confidence!

For all levels and kinds of mountain adventures
Despite spending most of my time in the mountains over the last few years there are so many paths I didn’t even know existed and thanks to this app I can never run of routes and always know I’ll be able to find my way home if I get lost. As a hiker whenever someone new is in town they usually ask for advice of where to hike and now I can just refer them to Forge because it is so user friendly, especially the latest update, that even a beginner can find a route that suits them. A great app to have for all levels and kinds of mountain adventures and can not wait to see the new areas to be mapped in the future!

Amazing must have hiking app
This app is really incredible. I’ve used it several times when I’ve hiked in areas I don’t know too well. It’s especially helpful when the trail signage isn’t great, as you can use the app to double check where you are in relation to the trail you’re on.
The other great feature is the points of interest that are included in the maps. Using the satellite imagery also helps you orientate yourself to the points of interest.
Amazing features, especially considering it is free.

Incredible tool
Downloaded this app yesterday morning before a hike over table mountain. We would have been dead without it! Downloaded the map and had my phone on airplane mode to save battery the whole way. GPS located us and guided us the whole way with incredible accuracy. With so many trails and poor marking we couldn’t have done it without.
