Forge of Empires is based on our successful browser strategy game which was published by InnoGames in the summer of 2012.
It was awarded Best Browser Game 2013 by the jury at Deutscher Computerspielpreis (German Computer Game Award).
Finally, the online strategy game is available for iOS as well, providing cross-platform access.

EPIC IN SCOPE
As someone fascinated with the concept of evolution, I of course find the fact that you play the different Ages in human history quite cool. It's awesome that you get to watch how your empire evolves through the ages. Can't wait to guide my empire through the Artic Age!

Frustrating
The game freezes a lot and you need to keep signing out to change between empires. There’s also no way I’ve found that actually works to change the password or see what my password is so I can play on my iPad too. I’ve read the forums and their recommendations but it’s not straight forward and the Forgot Password? button does not work. Very frustrating and off putting to have a problem with something that should be quite simple. Also, in game prices are ridiculously high for what they offer. Lastly, the tasks they give per level are only really possible to complete once you’ve completed the level so you waste quite a bit of time having to recruit and heal soldiers. Aaaarg.

Too many glitches
It’s an interesting game with a lot to offer - it seems. Problem is the glitches that the game has:
1. The game freezes regularly, I have to go out and back in
2. It keeps logging me out
3. I had to choose a gift, which is a nice touch, but it didn’t display any gifts, only the gaming GUI and after using my gifts (by tapping randomly on the screen) I had to close the game because it didn’t show the back option
4. After going back in, I couldn’t play, and this is ongoing, anymore due to the logo staying on the screen, nothing happens - I still can’t play the game
I feel like deleting it already and I’ve had the game hardly a day🤦🏼♂️
