Good App
Using marantz nr1200 app works well! Except when trying to start playing music from my iphone it simply fails, but once the music is playing(airplay) it works no problem i’m guessing its an apple security issue. tune in radio works perfect…the receiver occasionally loses connection from my wifi but thats because of location in the house its like a black spot for wifi and then the app does strange things and fails…user-friendlyness has room for improvement. Just sprinkle some intuition in there and try to get the apple music to work better and she be good to go!
Improvements to app
Very impressed with the improvements to app. My older Heos speakers are working glitch free.
Problems
I don’t know what has happened but I am now consistently experiencing problems with my HEOS system. It’s driving me crazy. Spent a fortune on it, mostly worked fine for many months, but now every time I come to use it, it’s not working and I have to go through the process of connecting my speakers again. I invested in the system for convenience; now I have the opposite. Worst of all my two HEOS 1’s are now working but the HEOS just will not play ... even though it shows as connected in the App in my phone and the speaker itself shows the blue light. I’m thinking it might all have something to do with these auto updates in which case I wish Denon would just stops doing the damned updates.

After the problem occurs, can you please use the “Report an Issue” option in your HEOS App to tell us more about the problem? You can do this through the SETTINGS > HELP > REPORT AN ISSUE. This will also submit a log which may also tell us more about your HEOS environment.
