The Hik-connect app is designed to work with Hikvision series DVRs, NVRs and IP cameras which support Cloud P2P function. It allows you to live view your cameras remotely. All you need to do is creating an account and adding device into the account, then you can enjoy the real-time video from cameras on a global scale. It also allows you to play back recorded video to search every milestone of your life. When motion detection alarm of your device triggered, you can get an instant message notification from Hik-connect app.

Hi! I am in SA and I am trying to get hold of the publisher for assistance!
Ptz control does not function correctly! If I open a window view with more than one ptz and I move one cam or zoom then go to the second cam the app does not recognize that I moved to the next cam! Even thought the view changed to the new cam the functions keep moving the previous opened cam! Please assist!! Looks like this is the issue since the last app update!

Very good system. The usage options should be more straight forward. There are numerous icons but only about 3 or so mostly used. These should be more prominent on the screen and simple and easy to access. Taking a picture or video to download to phone also a bit tricky. Not easy in an emergency when little time available.
Not the best
I find this app very user unfriendly. The home dashboard does not clearly show if the alarm is on or off and it’s not obvious how to switch the alarm off especially when it trips by accident 2am in the morning and you trying to fiddle to switch it off. My biggest issue is there no panic button on the dashboard and the panic button is this tiny little button. Again not obvious. There are too many notifications and I wish those could be more configurable. The cameras look good but they don’t refresh on the dashboard. Often simpler is better and I feel like they over designed and over complicated things.
