Complete lack of supportIssue with Premium Subscription & App Crashes on Mac
've been an avid user of the Day One app and truly value its offerings. Recently, however, I've encountered a significant issue. After losing access to my previous Premium account, I renewed my subscription via the Apple App Store. Unfortunately, it seems there's a conflict with the data from my old account. As a result, the app crashes on my Mac and fails to recognize my new Premium subscription.
The complication here is that Day One provides direct email support exclusively for Premium members. Given that the app doesn’t recognize my current Premium status due to this glitch, I'm unable to reach out for assistance in the usual channels. I understand technical issues can arise, but the current support structure makes it challenging to find a solution.
I sincerely hope the Day One team sees this review and helps address this issue. I'd be more than willing to modify my rating once the problem is resolved. Thank you in advance for your attention and understanding.
Great app for recording your thoughts with
If you have a journal practice of some kind, this is a great digital app for replacing pen & paper. The main advantage here is to make it easier to journal with digital content, like photographs and quotes from things you're reading. Been using it for a few months now, and while I still use pen & paper for a lot of work related "journaling", my own journal will likely remain digital from now onwards.
Worth It.
Day One has become my go-to app for jotting down everything from random ideas to lengthy reflections. I’ve been using it for over 3 years now and it keeps getting better and giving me more reason to use it. If you like lengthy journalling or simple jotting down a to-do-list Day One is a must have app!
