Ratings and Reviews
No means no
Great app, but the constant prompting to download chrome for iPhone is becoming so irritating that it’s moved me to write my first ever review on the App Store (and slam Google with a 4 star rating instead of a 5).
I use chrome on my MacBook for everything. I love chrome, but I don’t need it on my iPhone. I’m getting so irritated with constantly checking the “dont ask again” box only to be asked again if I want to download chrome that I might just cut off my nose to spite my face and delete it from everything I own (I won’t but let me be dramatic for a second).
I hope this is just a glitch because you’re better than that Google. Stop behaving like viagra salesmen.
Add option to add attachment from iOS files
It is a bit frustrating that certain email attachments can’t be read by receivers. Google uses Drive to attach links. It would be better if the files from drive would be attached as attachments and not links as certain receivers cant access these links easily.
It would also be easier if one could attach files directly and non-cryptically-user-friendly from iCloud Files or Files app on iOS without having to spend hours figuring out what and how this app works. I mean, business-running apps are not that complex to misunderstand. You have a great model Google Inc. Why are you busy dropping the ball?
Please contact me if you actually read this. There is nothing more dissatisfying than a Monopoly company ignoring your honest and valued input.
I don’t want chrome
The app is great but it constantly asks me if I want to download google chrome and that is extremely irritating. And each time, it gives an “ask me which app to use everytime” switch which is completely useless and deceitful because no matter what you choose it will ask the very same question when you try to open a link from gmail with safari. If you’re going to blatantly pester us to download chrome, at least have the decency to not lie about it by pretending that option can be turned off.
This has been complained about a million times so clearly it’s not a glitch
