I love this app with all my heart and have never had any problems but lately, when I’m trying to save a pin to a specific board it just saves to this new “quick save” profile board that I didn’t create. I have ocd when it comes to organizing and I don’t leave it to later, I don’t want to organize later so can you please remove that, I don’t like it, and it takes way longer to organize that way than when I’m just saving specific pins to their respective boards. I deeply hate this new feature, I don’t know who thought it was a good idea, but it wasn’t, it’s driving me crazy. Please remove it or fix it cause I’ve been deleting it yet it’s still doing that thing
The pin/board system makes no sense
I kept my pins unorganised for a while but there were only 2 categories so it was easy to do when I eventually got to it but by god the board system is so confusing.
1. Why when you make a board, if you want to delete the board you must individually put each pin in another board, and if you don’t you lose all pins? I thought it saved it and even tested it by putting one pin in a board and deleting it and the pin stayed on my ‘all saved’, but did it on a bigger board and lost all pins? I don’t understand
2. Anyone can agree that the fact you have to individually work with each pin after it’s in a board is tedious, unless there’s an alternative better way (on desktop or something) that I don’t see. Even deleting pins is a chore
3. The system and way it works is not straightforward in the slightest
4. My disappointment is immeasurable and my day is ruined
5. Why can you select pins in activity to change your home feed but you can’t go to these pins themselves to save them (if you accidentally delete them)? That’d be convenient but you can only tick and untick them
6. The deleting board thing is just madness, you’d think deleting the board wouldn’t affect the pins since they’re saved on your profile right? WRONG
The sad thing is there’s a lot of pins that I can’t find anywhere else so I’m staying with this app, I’m having Stockholm syndrome
