Long Mobile Payments Lead Times

I find the app very helpful, with amazing tools and features. It has simplified my business’ booking process in so many ways and has reduced admin work for me. However, mobile payments really take time to be paid out and when eventually paid, it’s usually in bits and pieces, which makes it difficult to cover month end bills and expenses ..

Time saver , business enhancer

This app has literally given me so much more free time when scheduling clients . It is so convenient to use , my clients love it and so do I . I honestly have no idea how I was managing my business before this . I used to take appointments through WhatsApp and had to add it to my calendar. This app has been life changing as I’m able to get clients to book themselves in when it suits them , especially since I work one on one with clients and cannot respond to booking requests when I am with a client . It also has helped me implement a cancellation policy which means no more last minute cancellations and allows me to not lose revenue with my no show policies in place . Booksy has been great to me as well as their support systems - I’ve never had to wait for them to fix something and I am thankful for that .

Customer service is TERRIBLE

Booksy is a great app with many helpful features for a business like ours. However, their customer service is a disaster and very frustrating. They don’t payout businesses on time and when you try to email, call or use the chatbot on the site, there are never any replies. So as a business you are left in the dark with expenses that need to be paid. There is also no transparency with regards to the payments they’ve received and what they’ve paid out to businesses. You have to jump through so many hoops just to get access to a report that should be readily available to all businesses that use Booksy. With all that been said, Booksy South Africa needs to do better because they are getting worse everyday.
