Makro Online Shopping 12+

I feel that once you as a customer have made a purchase of whatever product the other parties which makro works with doesn’t attend our orders, I purchased items on 28 September 2024 and apparently this item makro gets it from a 3rd party retailer. Now the concerning part to me as a customer is that this 3rd party retailer hasn’t made any progress my order is still on its initial stage which is the part that confirms I made a purchase. There has not been any change since then

I’ve had some pretty bad deliveries on other apps but this tops them all. From ordering, to be told stock of certain items is finished only to check same day stock is available. My order got split up 3 different routes to 3 different drivers. The communication is horrendous. First the liquor delivery came, I was puzzled were was the rest? The next day one item arrived from another driver and nobody could help me figure out why the last items was missing or who had them. The app showed that all items delivered yet I didn’t receive everything. Trying to call the makro store was like calling home affairs. Nobody there. I called the delivery partner which was just as shocking if not worse but I’m dissecting this app. the call agent tells me I must call makro and rebook their driver to bring my last items they don’t do it. I couldn’t believe what I heard. Now clients must get involved in the admin of calling stores and rearranging deliveries! I sincerely hope the agent gets the boot for the service I got. Disgusting to say the least. This was the first and last time I will ever order through makro app. Unnecessary waste of time and terrible at accurate and honest customer service specially the WUMDROP service

My recent experience with Makro was disappointing. Despite their promise of delivery within 2-5 business days, I received my package 8 working days later. While this delay was somewhat tolerable, the communication with their support agent was extremely frustrating. I reached out multiple times to report the issue and each time was met with the same unhelpful response: "the parcel has been dispatched." There was no genuine effort to investigate the delay or provide a satisfactory explanation for why it exceeded the expected timeframe.

If Makro intends to blame their courier, Courier Guy, then they should consider partnering with more reliable services like Aramex or DHL. Unfortunately, after Makro provided me with the tracking number, the service and communication from Courier Guy were equally poor. I am relieved that the matter has finally been resolved, but based on this experience, I am hesitant to shop online with Makro again. I would rather trust retailers like Takealot, Shein, or BabiesRus who consistently fulfill their promises.
