Great VPN that’s easy to use
Having access to multiple servers across the world definitely has it perks and makes finding whatever you need convenient. It also helps keep my internet connection stable, cant remember the last time my router failed to provide an internet connection while using the VPN
No good in China
I purchased this VPN service on the explicit understanding that it would work in mainland China. After arriving in China, I was dismayed to find that it doesn't work at all. Not only could i not establish a way past The Great Firewall to keep using my apps, but it simply stopped all data transfer. In fact, it even confused the tethered hotspot to the point where no connection could be established with either a WiFi network or an eSIM connection. I have now removed NordVPN from all my devices, and would really appreciate a refund for this service which didn't perform at all, let alone to expectations. And yes, I did try the help suggestions like tinkering with the protocols etc, but they didn't help. Really unhappy, and hoping that Nord would do the right thing and refund me for this now-uninstalled App which didn't deliver what it promises. LetsVPN in China allowed all the functionality I need, and worked flawlessly from the outset. Would not recommend at all.

Waste of money
They cram so many users onto each IP address that you end up solving increasingly annoying captchas for each and every google search. Some of them take a minute to solve because the tiles appear so slowly after you have clicked on them. This is a Nord problem because on a certain other VPN (that I wont name for fear of appearing like a shill) I never got a single captcha.
Furthermore the app design makes no sense. There is no option to pause or disconnect. You have to go into the settings and disable auto-connect. This feels like such bad UX that it could be a bug.
Finally, it is against Apple App Store ToS to combine security alerts with ads under one toggle switch for notifications. I’m reporting the app for this.

Also, we do have a pause feature, it is available on both OpenVPN connection protocols (TCP/UDP). You may change yours in the settings of our VPN app. -L.L.
