Numbers is Awesome, but....

I really think the Numbers needs a Goal Seek-type function in order to really put it ahead.... I love the simplicity and minimalist feel. I get everything I need to get done, done.

Currency Calculations Broken

With the latest version 12.1, updating amounts in currency format cells are broken. To replicate this, put in an amount in a cell, change the format to Currency (South African Rand), and then edit the cell again afterwards. The formatting is messed up after editing the cell. The only way it works now is to completely clear the preceding "R " symbol in front of the amount. This was not necessary before. It seems to work for USD formatting, but other currency cells do not work like before.

After some additional testing, the following seems to be the problem:
1. Using any currency cell formatting where the currency symbol has a space before the amount. (For example South African Rand, Swiss Franc etc.)
2. When using these currency formats, trying to change an amount in a cell, one have to clear the entire cell and re-type the amount form scratch, or remove the currency symbol in the front manually otherwise the formatting is messed up

God and broken pieces

I struggled slightly at first, but then I got the hang of it and I enjoy it for my basic use for now. We'll see as things get complicated...
