Created in partnership with the United Nations World Food Programme, ShareTheMeal is an incredibly simple way to donate meals to the millions around the world facing food insecurity. It facilitates one-tap donations to specific recipients of your choosing—families in Kenya, schoolchildren in Rwanda—or to a greater global fund. Give once, set up recurring contributions, or donate on another’s behalf as a gift. There’s no easier way to do a little good right now. ShareTheMeal is an App Store Award winner.
Easy but opaque
I donate monthly and ad-hoc as often as I can under complete TRUST that my money is not being misspent and at least half of it makes it to the intended donee. I am always suspicious of NGO abuse of funding but what choice do you have to support people so disconnected from the privileged lives of middle class 1st world citizens. This app makes it easy to take that leap of faith and give whatever your heart wants to and pocket can afford at the time without commitment. Help those in need and simultaneously help change our global society into a caring and kind culture. If you cannot or will not use this app to do so, please go out and spread love however you can.

Love the idea behind the app and the initiative it supports! I’ve always wanted to give back more and this app makes it so easy. I really like how they give you information about the cause you are donating to and you have different options to choose how long you’d like to feed an individual for! Thank you for making the possibility of change possible through this app!
