Great idea bad inplementation

The APP is great when it works! That is its biggest problem ‘when it works’ Man alive any update ends up it chaos. Nothing works you have to capture information again. Basic data is always stuffed, benefitiories have to redone. Every time it takes 2 weeks and more to sort out the issues. There is a basic rule in programming It have to work everytime the first time! Put a bit more in getting functionality right with new versions and put less effort is pictures an glamour. You got a great idea but you loose me everytime I have to battle to get everything back to working order as before tge upgrade. It is just bad business bad coding and bloody fustrating. Client first second and third at all times!!!

Poor customer support

Firstly, the app gives the impression that you can pay foreign beneficiaries in ZAR. It even lets you go all the way to adding the banking details of a foreign beneficiary, selecting that it’s a ZAR payment and then right at the last minute gives an error message. If it isn’t possible, then don’t even allow the customer to go that far in the process.

Then because this didn’t work I asked for a refund. The FAQ on the Shyft website says “the app will request the bank account details to which the refund must be paid”. This never happened and the funds were paid into an old account which was closed. Upon contacting customer support, no responsibility was taken and it just became my problem to solve. I was told that the FAQ relates to 3rd party payments which is not mentioned anywhere on the FAQ.

So just be careful when using Shyft and requesting a refund. It’s not worth it. Rather use another forex platform.

diappointed I upgraded ,

App is a confusing mess.

. It springs surprises like A notice saying you have not provided authentication when I battled half an afternoon and finally got authenticated. The chat line packs up in he middle of a help chat. You top up your wallet but it takes 30 minutes ( they don’t warn you in advance ) so I am waiting to order a physical card. Considering this app deals with your money it does not seem stable or trustworthy I know I might even get the usual bleat from the developer “ That we are working on it” That is of NO USE whatsoever to me Allow for days to try to learn this thing if you dare. I am going to give up and will try to get my money back before I leave for overseas possibly with out a card because they take days to deliver it. Reviews of apps like this don’t lie It’s ratings are bad. What is it about IT designers? They seem incapable often to design an app Joe Soap can work because they are on another planet. Beware !
