The Best Banking Partner in South Africa

I’ve been using the Spot app for a while now, and honestly, it’s one of the most seamless and user friendly apps I’ve come across. Everything is clean, intuitive, and super easy to navigate, whether you're checking your details, managing your account, or exploring features. What really stands out is how fast and reliable the app is. No lag, no confusion, just a smooth experience from start to finish. You can tell the team behind it actually listens to users and keeps improving things. If you’re looking for an app that’s efficient, modern, and actually delivers on what it promises, this is definitely it. Highly recommend! 🔥

The app is buggy

The wait time is too long for it to come back with an attempt countdown, which doesn’t make any sense, considering that the image is very clear, and the rectangular guide for scanning doesn’t show. Once you close the app, as instructed by the support desk, you can’t pickup the conversation from where you left off, therefore, the user has to start all over again! I had to chat to 3 different agents for the same issue that still hasn’t been resolved. My suggestion - your dev team needs to relook into the bug situation, and the UX/UI team needs to relook the chat situation and the inability to go back into the app when you’ve opened an image that you sent to an agent during a chat. The idea is great, but the execution needs work. With these pending issues, the referral program will not work best, and considering that the app is supposed to hold people’s money, the issues do not encourage trust.

The Ultimate Student Survival App – Spot Money Makes Shared Living Easy

Spot Money is honestly a game changer for student life. Living in a house with multiple people can get messy when it comes to splitting costs, keeping track of who paid for what, and avoiding those awkward “you still owe me” conversations — but this app completely solves that. What I love most is how simple and clear everything is. You can easily track shared expenses like groceries, electricity, WiFi, or even takeaways, and everyone can see exactly where they stand. No confusion, no stress, no arguments. This is exactly what I needed when moving into a student house. My whole intention was to find something that keeps things fair and organised without making it complicated, and Spot Money does that perfectly. It honestly feels like it was designed specifically for students living together. The interface is clean, the features are practical, and it just makes life easier. If you’re sharing a place with friends, this app isn’t just helpful — it’s essential.Highly recommend. 💯

We've improved the homepage. It's now easier to check your balances and manage your SIMs. We've also squashed a few bugs to make the app faster and more reliable.
