Cash grab
The monetization in this game is egregious like Candy Crush. Unlike this game, Subway Surfers is the best example of how a free-to-play game should be done. I have spent money on Subway Surfers because I feel like it meets the player half way. If Subway Surfers Match’s gameplay was more balanced and not designed to push players toward watching ads half of the time and if the “rewards” for watching ads were actually rewarding, I would give this game another try. Other than that the gameplay is fun, but the glaringly obvious greed in it is keeping me away from playing it. I’ll try it in a few months’ time to see if the developers have fixed it.
