I returned goods to Spree in May 2018. Despite the app status showing they received the goods and undergoing quality control, to day I have not received my refund. Spree initially lied that I got my refund in June 2018. After numerous calls they admitted that it still needs to be paid. I think they wasted time since they knew they were merging with Superbalist. I have lost thousands of rands since I didn’t get my refunds and I also lost R800 of store credit from Spree. It’s best to buy from a store at the mall where you can speak face to face and demand action. With these types of stores you constantly speaking to different people making promises but nothing gets done.

Superbalist has taken a turn for the worse. My order was sent to the wrong store, ( which I mean okay, mistakes happen) and I was suppose to receive my order Monday. Okay cool, new estimated date is now Wednesday, Wednesday comes I get a email telling me to get my items ready for the return (keeping in mind I haven’t received it yet so the heck would I return it🙈). I ask the agent if he can contact the store and get some details today as to when I’m going to receive it or if I should request a refund and find alternative clothes for the special day. “I’m sorry, but I can only email them and wait for 24 hours”. Also I asked for a reference number for the call so I could follow up, they don’t use reference numbers. I asked for the agents full name as an alternative he said they can’t provide it for safety reasons. So I just need to call again and repeat my whole story 🙈.My friend ordered clothes last week for her niece and received adult shoes. Still hasn’t received her refund.Safe to say I’ll think a million times before ordering from Superbalist again.

Hello, congratulations on the merger!I just wanted ask if you will be adding some of the super helpful and user friendly features spree had on their app (like the other colours an item is available in, styles you may like and customers also bought). Now that you have such wide range of stock, these things will make for a much better, cleaner and more efficient online shopping experience. (Also note the similar items feature that’s currently on Superbalist doesn’t give similar items at all - maybe it’s a bug?). Also it would be lovely to have more accurate and detailed product info on the items - currently, its quite inconsistent with some clothing items not stating the fabric/material or items having incorrect info etc.You guys are great and I have had really great service experiences!I’m sure you are still adjusting to the merger, so all the best in your future plans x

I have ordered from Superbalist over 45 times over 5 years and not once did I have a delivery problem or any need to contact customer services. My parcel was supposed to be delivered today 2 Aug and on Sunday I received a message that the parcel will be delivered that day. Luckily I was home but no one arrived. Monday I saw on the app that I should contact customer concierge. So I did...5 times...waiting 10min for call to be answered...nothing. This morning 2 Aug I received a message that my order was cancelled after several attempts to deliver and that I will receive a refund in 5 days. Problem is...most of my items are sold out and no longer on special. BS!! I was home Sunday and Monday and nobody was here. Also want to add that every time takealot was at my gate they phoned me to say there is a delivery...nothing this time! My previous delivery was also 3 days late. What happened to your excellent service Superbalist???
