Yes! I love this app it’s very accurate , since I’ve got it I’ve started surfing a lot more because I know what the waves look like before going it’s very helpful I give a 5 out of 5 just one thing I done like that theres always a add before looking at the live cam but and during watching but over all I really like the app 😁🌊

Great forecast but some frustrating UI designs

Swell forecast is excellent and detailed however the UI could do with a few improvements such as including an option for hourly view on the mobile version like on the website version. For example on an iPad there is plenty of space for more detailed information however the scaling is still for the small mobile app. It would be amazing if this could be fixed. There are also very limited cam options for places in South Africa however premium subscription still costs the same as in the US where you get much better value for money. In my opinion it should not cost the same if the experience is significantly worse here. Webcam numbers have improved over the last year so hopefully this continues.

All in all lots of potential to be even better, I just hope some things can be tweaked.

Rubbish

Liters of fuel and precious time was wasted in this, said, application, driving to a location only to find the conditions au contraire to forecasts. Where the developers gets their data from is a mystery, as 90% of the forecasts are wildly inaccurate. Unless the basis of their data is from decades of data, the forecasts does not include the ever changing landscape of popular surf locations, as property developers build high rise buildings, which unnaturally changes the way winds and swells behave.

The only useful feature is the Livecam. However, it does not justify the fees they charge for a feature one can find for free on other websites.

Not recommended.
