For FreeMe Family this is a useless app
This update I can now see my usage again, data, voice etc used on the account in the current month, which was broken in the last update. No matter which of my 8 sims I select, I only see the overall account stats for this month. Nothing per sim and no history. 2 updates back I could at least see previous months history per sim - nothing in the current month, which is useless too if trying to see who is this month's hog... To understand what is happening in the month you need this rubbish app, the ussd interface and the desktop Web interface. If you don't have all 3 at once you are blind. Catch a wakeup or I'm going to choose to go back to a contract from a provider with live info that allows me easy control over my account - go visit Afrihost and Axxess apps for some hints.
Apple you really need a zero star.... 😡
Migration from ADSL to LTE
Initially I had a 10mb uncapped ADSL line which worked perfectly with the app, no problems at all. I could log faults, view my usage and see all my products but when I finally migrated to my LTE line on 12 March the app and WIFI has been a total nightmare!
The app doesn’t show any of my information anymore, I can see I have products but when I open them it says “Looks like there is no info to display currently. Please try again later.” There is simply no option for me to log faults and there are a ton of products listed (more than I have with Telkom) but none with any information to tell me what they are!
I am overly annoyed by this and I am considering to switch to another company if this is not resolved soon.
It great, when it works...
The app is cool and useful- I’m on contract, it helps track my allocated data each month.
However, it does not have work half the time - simply says it can’t get your data - fix it Telkom!
It still does not show how much of your LIT Video data you have used. In a world where video content is key form of communication, it matters to know how much of the allocated data I have used - fix it!
Also on the website, stop giving the option to use the old or new site - you’ve had that on for more than a year, people have migrated, those who haven’t will not, simply because they have the old site option - fix it!
Up to six family members will be able to use this app with Family Sharing enabled.
