JoJ@ZA ,

I hate this game because.... I LOVE IT!!!!

I play this on my phone and ipad simultaneously. Two different game plays - while one is busy, I play the other. It is quite addictive once you get in to it. Because of the way it is structured, you can leave it playing for hours - even days - on its own and come back to it when you have time. Else, you can sit and play it quickly and for hours. If you are not paying attention, you can flood your planet, kill it with droughts or get hit by meteors and earthquakes etc. The trick is to watch your dashboard and do the math before you go off to bed. It’s like Einstein’s version of Sim City. Each new planet is different with varying degrees of difficulty. My daughter introduced me to this game. I don’t know whether to hug her or kill her.

There are in-app ads that you need to run (in-coming transmissions) to get various bonus’ that will help you to be successful. You can also buy these bonus’ in-game if you want to progress a bit quicker and not run the ads. I think that good programming should be rewarded and I have made an in-app purchase even though I didn’t need to.

My verdict is that this is a very good game, well written and challenging. My one criticism would be that it is not possible to buy out of the ads altogether, forever - without having to make in-app purchases or running the ads. Very clever business model.

Great but too many in-game purchases

This game is really enjoyable to play. You get attached to watching your planet be transformed through the choices you’ve made. However, it really does bombard you with ads the entire time and offers in game purchases for just about every single thing. I just wish you could turn that off by paying for a premium version of the game, or perhaps finding it on Apple Arcade or something.

Awesome game, BUT

Look the gameplay is amazing. The graphics are phenomenal. The amount of detail that it has astounding.

I played it a couple of times before on various devices, and I keep coming back for more -

HOWEVER

It seems the Iphone XR is not great for this game. It installs fine, but within say 30 mins of gameplay, the moment it needs to really do some multiple levels of calculations, it just crashes and finally after a few restarts it wont even open.

Then a reinstall is due to make it work for another 30 mins.

Luckily the game has an amazingly active cloud storing function so you can carry on where you left off, and due to that I still rate them 5/5.

But it would be great if the game didn’t crash - even so much that I would buy the full version.
