SUBSCRIPTION:
We offer auto-renewing subscription:
- Length: Yearly-Monthly-Weekly
- Payment will be charged to iTunes Account at confirmation of purchase
- You will be able to access the Premium features of the app for the duration of the subscription
- Subscription automatically renews for the same price and duration period as the original period unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24-hours before the end of the current period
- The account will be charged for renewal within 24-hours prior to the end of the current period at the cost of the chosen package.
- Subscriptions may be managed by the user and auto-renewal may be turned off by going to the user's iTunes Account Settings after purchase
- No cancellation of the current subscription is allowed during the active subscription period
- You may cancel a subscription during its free trial period via the subscription setting through your Apple account. SonyMote, oh SonyMote, you had the potential to be a handy remote app for controlling my Sony devices, but you've fallen victim to the ad invasion.
This app inundates users with ads every 5 seconds, making it an unbearable experience. It's not just a minor annoyance; it renders the app practically useless. Trying to change channels on my TV, adjust the volume, or perform any remote function becomes a Herculean task as ads relentlessly interrupt your every move.
I get it; free apps need ads to generate revenue, but SonyMote takes it to an absurd level. It's as if the developers care more about ad impressions than user satisfaction. The constant barrage of ads ruins what could have been a valuable tool for Sony device owners.
To make matters worse, the user interface is far from intuitive. The cluttered layout and frequent ad interruptions make navigation a frustrating ordeal. I often found myself accidentally clicking on ads when trying to operate my devices, which only added to the aggravation.
In summary, I strongly discourage anyone from downloading SonyMote. While it could have been a convenient remote control app, its excessive ads make it utterly unusable. Save yourself the frustration and look for an alternative app that respects your time and patience.
Terrible App
Half the time it still asking to “search” for TV. Then it doesn’t find the TV. What’s the point of this app if I’m always going to have to pair it to the same TV each and every time I need to use it?
Better to just buy a normal remote and save yourself the hassle.
