Best Invention Ever
I often forget to lock the car, close the windows fully or even do the log book however the Volvo App is amazing as it gently reminds me. I love how efficient it is and even when the key is missing, the unlock feature allows for me to get inside the vehicle. You’d have to own one to experience what l’m bragging about.
Latest app
App is pretty terrible! Unreliable connectivity is an issue. Car often shows “in use” when parked and engine off. 4g signal is not the issue! In almost all cases the climate timer does not work and must be started manually. App removal and reinstalling makes no difference. Often the battery state of charge (T8 recharge) does not update so current state of charge and available mileage are unknown. App also shows vehicle unplugged when in fact charging. Overall unacceptable for a car of this level and needs a proper solution by App developers! It’s no good updating the look but functionality remains terrible!
Not as responsive
The functions of the app is great and easy to use. But sometimes it does not sync properly with the car. Sometimes it says “Car still in use” hours after locking the car.
