Our planet is a fascinating place. From cascading waterfalls to sandy beaches, the geographical forces that have shaped the surface of the earth have produced an incredibly diverse planet.

You start by encountering the planet in its current state – and, from here, you can scroll back through time to see how it has changed, from the fiery Hadean era to the modern Phanerozoic era.
Zoom in to explore the thirteen specific physical processes, including how rivers meander and how volcanoes erupt.
Tap the screen to make the tectonic plates clash together and cause a violent earthquake, or to shunt a glacier along to carve out a valley. Almost every creature you encounter becomes part of the game: meet a diving penguin, or a singing whale, as you explore the sea coasts.
