Branch is a developer utility that monitors a git repository that you define and displays the current branch name in your menu bar.
- Automatically kept up to date when you switch branches
- Configure your own colour schemes
- Configure alternative colours if the branch name does not contain a defined prefix
- Use descriptive text or a compact icon to provide the feedback
- Length of text can be configured to prevent long branch names filling your menu bar
- Quickly read the 5 most recent git log entries on the current branch
