Description

Yamac is a new version of Yamaotaku for Mac, a mountain observatory simulator application for MacOS9. Functions such as easy search function have been added and improved.

High-speed display and light operation are realized by displaying mountains in triangles.
There is no need to purchase map data as users can create and display the data themselves.
It has a function to easily create data using a web map service.
It corresponds to GSI Maps in Japan and geoportail in France.
Several selectable settings display the sun and also account for atmospheric refraction for more accurate results.
Special displays, such as the analemma display of the sun, are also possible.
There is also a special function for Diamond Fuji (Diamond Fuji), so you can easily know the date and time and see a realistic simulation image.
If you use the skyline drawing function, it is possible to determine the visibility of the target mountain with high accuracy.
Data files for Yamaotaku for Mac and the Windows version of Yamaotaku are also available.
