Calling all piano students! This is the bundle of apps you need to get the most out of your piano study!

All three apps were created by a piano teacher of over 25 years, based on first-hand experience of the needs of his students.

Three apps, each with a specific and essential purpose:

1) Flashnote Derby - More fun than music flashcards! Learn the ABCs of notes on the staff in a fast-paced flashcard race. See the note on the screen and respond by playing it on your piano or keyboard.

2) Rhythm Swing - Students of all ages will love outwitting the nasty crocodile by tapping rhythms correctly. A variety of levels take you from simply keeping a steady beat up through all different types of notes and rests. The humorous gameplay will keep you motivated to master each new concept.

3) Hop To It! - The other component of reading notes at the piano- recognizing intervals. Intervals are simply the distance and direction between notes and understanding them is a big step in becoming a fluent sight-reader, especially at the piano. Perfect for young, pre-reading students, but with sufficient challenge for older children as well.

We are so fortunate to live in an age where technology can be such an aid in learning the piano and having fun doing it. When students give up on their piano lessons, it's usually because they find it too difficult and frustrating. Learning basic skills early is key to laying the groundwork for future success.
