Types Define Structure Types now control the layout and properties of all associated objects. When you create an object of a certain Type, it will follow the same layout and include the same properties as others of that Type. Templates Focus on Content Templates no longer define properties or layout. They inherit the object’s settings and control the content, primarily organizing blocks. Set is now called Query More than just a rename – each Type page comes with a built-in inline Query, making it easier to access and organize a list of all related objects. Special Icons for Types You can now assign custom icons at the Type level, choosing from a dedicated collection to clearly distinguish Types from objects. Quality of Life Improvements Automatic Widget Creation When a new first object of Type is created, a dedicated widget is automatically added to your Home Screen. It displays a subset of objects of that Type within the space, giving you quick access without extra setup. Widgets are optional – once removed, it won’t reappear unless you add it manually. Create Objects from Widgets As a complement to automatic widget creation, you can now create objects from widgets using the plus (+) button. Unified Search We’ve reimagined the search experience by merging All Objects into the Global Search. You can now search across Pages, Lists, Media, Bookmarks and Files using a single search bar. Tabs help you filter results by object type, and both your selected tab and search query are remembered between sessions. New Settings Design Settings got a full makeover with a cleaner structure and clearer navigation for setup and customization. Also, you can now manage Object Types directly from the Space Settings. Open Bookmarks in Browser Opening a bookmark now takes you directly to the URL – not into the editor. On iOS, bookmarks open within the in-app browser, keeping you inside Anytype while still viewing web content. Better Link Handling Object links are now easier to share and open, even outside the app. When you tap Copy Link from the object menu, you’ll get a shareable HTTPS link. If the app is already installed, or the link is opened inside Anytype, it takes you straight to the object with no redirection. For shared spaces, the link also includes an invite so others can join instantly. Minor Fixes Fixed: MP3 files now load properly. Fixed: PDFs now open as expected. Fixed: Toggle arrow expands blocks with empty content. Improved: Image, Video and File pickers now open automatically when adding a corresponding Media block.

Greetings, Anytype iOS friends! We have a few improvements for your mobile devices in this release. We're hard at work behind the scenes and laying the groundwork for bigger things coming soon. Stay tuned – we can't wait to share what's next. In the meantime, here’s what's new in version 0.35.0. Quality-of-Life: - The back button has been moved from the bottom panel to the top left corner, functioning as a standard system component and laying the groundwork for future changes. - The new profile card now opens when you select another user – whether in Relations (e.g., “assignee”), Mentions in objects, or the List of Members. - Entry Space is no longer required and can be removed like any other regular Private Space. - Resolved an issue where Spaces were temporarily missing during the loading state, causing them to appear abruptly and shift in the Vault upon App launch. Spaces now load and display consistently. - Added a specific error message for invite links associated with remote Spaces. Previously, the message incorrectly stated that the invite link didn’t work. Now, a pop-up will correctly indicate that the Space has been deleted. - Updated the Settings button in Vault to now display a Profile icon.
