Love almost everything about it
I love the presentation of timely articles that reflect my priorities for news consumption. I appreciate the suggested additional articles presented at the bottom of each story I read, which often leads to greater understanding of a particular topic or issue, or leads me to new relevant information. For example, if I am reading about the highest rated movies on Netflix, I often am presented articles about the best movies on Disney+, etc. Or if I am reading a story about, say the FBI raid in Mar-a-lago, I will be presented with op/ed pieces, as well as articles relevant to the topic, such as threats to the FBI in the aftermath. I love the magazine selection that is available, such as Newsweek and Time which expands the range and depth of suggested articles. Many articles have embedded. Hyperlinks to past referenced material, too! My only big complaint is that I often like to read at bedtime, in the dark, with the brightness turned very low. The color of the hyperlinks is either dark red or blue, which is often impossible to read when the surrounding text is white in a black background. I sometimes have to turn up the brightness to read them, which I hate doing. Sadly, the colors or style (such as underlined or bold text) is not user-selectable. I would love to see that changed.
Keeps me in the know of most events
This is an informative app n newspaper, only thing I wish they would show more positive news. When every news circuit runs the exact same things, it can be negative overflow. But, in terms of having factual data of all the craziness in the world today it’s key. Especially since it’s time to be active voters and stop our country from going bk to the dark ages. I usually don’t comment on politics, but in light of all the evil going on now. All I can say is if you stand for a gov’t that’s constantly taking things away, or are ruling through unhanded n unfair practices, then you stand for nothing. When has moving backwards ever won any races? What mks OUR US great, Is that despite the inequality, evils, mismanagement of pwr; we at the moment are founded on believing in striving 4 rights. N that should be EVERYONE’s rights 4 life, liberty n justice. Have your opinion or view, but when you seek 2 control, abuse n divide then your opinion changes 2 an unGodly action. No matter where you’re from, race, color or creed at the base of everything we’re humans. We all want the same basic thing: a home, food, clothing, good surroundings n education 4 our children, good health n transportation. There is 2 much wealth in this world that everyone can’t have a piece of the American dream. So, vote n pray, pray, pray because if we ever needed Jesus it’s now.
It’s kind of amazing how much you get
The amount of stuff you get access to is enormous and since I’ve gotten it a lot more has been added. There’s trash magazines u find next to the register but then they have the top magazines like Scientific American, Nat Geo, New Yorker, Time, and plenty of others. For standard news you get a lot now… used to be less. Getting Wall Street Journal is really the big highlight of the news but plenty of other good ones too.
I like the audio news for when I’m travelling… but on a trip 4 hours one day and 4 hours back a week later and you can run out of stuff you are interested in for a while. Hopin they increase how many articles the and stories they get to audio.
Does need some improvement to organization though. If you like a wide variety of magazines and news it ends up bein too much to scroll through. The audio stories have good organization by topic when you scroll to the bottom but the regular reading news is like a social media feed and it’s just not really ideal.
