Description
Nordea ID app provides an easy and secure way to authenticate your identity.
With the app you can do your banking regardless of time and place. Begin by installing the app on your mobile device and go through the activation process. You shouldn’t rely on just one copy of the Nordea ID app. If your phone or tablet breaks down or gets lost, you will also lose the Nordea ID app and you will need to go through the activation process again. To avoid this, we recommend that you install the Nordea ID app on more than one mobile device.
With the Nordea ID app you can:
- log in to Nordea services and confirm actions
- confirm online payments in a secure way
- as a personal customer identify yourself in other service providers’ services (only in Finland and Norway)
- identify yourself when calling Nordea Customer Service. (only in Finland and Norway)
The app can’t be used on rooted mobile devices for security reasons.

What’s New
Version 2.6.0
We have a new update ready for you.
- The app no longer supports iOS 12, 13 or 14. To continue using the new versions of Nordea ID app, you must have iOS 15 or newer.
- We have removed the authentication option “Nordea ID app offline mode”. Please use the app in the online mode.
- We will ask for your consent for collecting statistics of use. This will help us investigate issues with the app better in case of errors.
- The iOS version now includes a demo, which allows you to get familiar with the app before you actually start using it.

Please add support for Apple Watch - that would be super handy to be able to approve payments from the watch, or to log into netbank

Frustrating user experience: the app is buggy
I've been using the Nordea ID app for a while now, and I'm extremely disappointed with its performance, especially after the recent iOS update.
The app stopped to function properly and recommended reactivation via snail mail for banking codes. As a result, I'm locked out of accessing my own bank account, which is a major inconvenience. The lack of timely and efficient user support (they work only during daytime) adds to the overall inconvenience. I hope these issues are resolved soon, as this app's current state is simply unacceptable.
Great ease of use
Love the usability, should've created this way earlier!! Possibility to add TouchID instead of PIN would be nice. And an option for a longer PIN would be useful too
