Yandex Go: Taxi Food Delivery 4+

Yandex needs to work on drivers selection criteria.

The app is ok. But drivers..
A week or two ago I started to experience violent, rude, aggressive drivers’ behavior. I do not feel safe anymore and think twice when order a taxi for a ride with my kids. Drivers have no idea about service, how to behave or simply how to be polite. More than that they could yell, ignore your requests, smoke in a car just before taking a passenger, talk over the phone loudly (putting it on speakers during the ride).. Terrible experience. If you send to Yandex support your complaint they give you feedback immediately and compensate but the thing is we need safe rides and adequate drivers.

I us this taxi app and every time it’s quite disappointed by its customer rating system. While I understand the need for feedback, the idea that passengers are rated by drivers is concerning. This system is not only inconvenient but also potentially discriminatory.
In Kazakhstan, the Law on Consumer Rights Protection ensures that no consumer should be subjected to unfair treatment or discrimination in the marketplace. By rating customers, this app creates a system where passengers could be unfairly penalized without a transparent or justifiable reason. For instance, if a driver gives a low rating due to personal biases or unprofessional behavior, the passenger may be unfairly treated in future rides, such as receiving poor service or higher fares. This violates the principle of equal treatment under the law, as consumers should not be penalized or excluded based on arbitrary ratings that they have no control over.
In conclusion, this rating system appears to discriminate against consumers, and I believe it should be reconsidered in light of consumer protection laws in Kazakhstan.

they charge me double money

I have been writing customer service for days from the application because I had been charged twice for several trips and I am claiming my money and nobody answers me either through the application or by email, a disaster they steal your money, now I put the option to pay in cash, As soon as I activate a way of life I pay on the card they charge me for all the tickets 😡😫 they are scammers I wish the taxi drivers would let me go without paying 🤪
