3DBear for Education
Apart from creative exploration and fun, 3DBear is also widely used in education.
3DBear is a great tool for teaching in-person or remotely. Create your own classroom and tap into ready-made lesson plans for Pre-K, K-12, libraries and Career and Technical Education (CTE). 3DBear includes lesson plans for ELA, Social Studies, Math, Science, Coding, Design Thinking, Computational Thinking, and STEM/STEAM.
Most of 3DBear's features are available for free:
- All lesson plans.
- Creating AR scenes with various 3D model collections.
- Import millions of Sketchfab models, or import your own models to create engaging homework for students.
You can also subscribe in-app for the all-access subscription service “3DBear Teacher plan”. The plan includes a usage license for 1 teacher and 10 students. My experience with 3d bear
To be honest my experience with this app has been really good including the stuff I can do and make to publish to the community sure it isn’t a big app but it has been a good experience for me as I have even been able to be a big creator and even get 2022 Feb superhero of the month I think it was and although there are a bit more stuff j think u can add I can ensure you that 3d bear has been a good experience and although I don’t use it anymore it will still remain a place holder for some of personality and media hope u guys make it big one day
An App to Boost Creativity and Imagination
This app has allowed our students to make the impossible possible in the classroom. From maker challenges on Global Maker Day to building solutions for global goals to creative writing and digital storytelling to analyzing geometric shapes in math class to social emotional learning experiences, 3DBear has helped engage our learners with augmented reality. We also loved the ability to import our own 3D models into a scene. It’s also an app that any educator or student can begin creating in immediately with little to no experience. Perfect for all ages!
Great App and Good Tech for Storytelling
Company was very responsive when I emailed with a question. I received a call the same day. I wasn’t expecting that. I’m impressed. I started sharing the tech last week during PD with my teachers. They see the potential for a lot of engaging lessons with students. We very much like the integration with Thingiverse. It makes a lot of sense. Integration with Tinkercad next? Thank you 3DBear.
