Evony is a highly addictive city-building alliance-joining game. It requires a lot of time per day - and essentially, spending real money if you want a decent size city. There are many full time players throughout the world, and as fun as it can be for a few months, it can take a big chunk of your life away if you let it. I played for at least 3 hours a day for 2.5 years, and spent a lot of money - which I will not get back. Take care.

If you want to be successful in this game you need to spend minimum 100 USD per week. If you want to be on top you need to spend over 2000 USD, every 2 week. If you think you play without spending you need to play over 2 year and still you can't be at the level of normal spender. A number of features like refining, generals etc are based on random basis so you cant even figure out how to spend or play to get some thing in game. Think before you download. Its an expensive addiction. The worst part is the developer will enhance the game levels / options so you cant even decide that this is the max you need to spend to reach top rank players. I spent a lot to reach k35 and then they upgraded the game to k40 level. They will continue this so that you keep on spending.

Four days ago I lost my account because of my young son. My account was delinked from Facebook and the values of the center by mistake and consumed all the jewels I have and resources. Previously, months ago I got the same problem and lost some golden sub-cities, two Russian, one Japanese one and one Chinese. I paid on this account thousands of dollars and did not compensated me with anything. Now I try to restore my account and four days ago I worked an account in the same server for my old account and sent them invoices proving that it is my account and a lot of tickets and e-meals and I did not recover my account yet. I do not know why this delay, if you do not want to return my account, return all my money I spent on this account within two years.

1 star thanks to customer service totally ignoring people, ignoring serious issues and causing players to quit. People spend actual real money on this game, in the thousands, and lag issues cause us to lose things we’ve paid for. Terms of service are constantly being breached and players are being ignored. Personally, I’m sick of seeing people on my server get immediate responses to made up problems and others being ignored. One of my teammates asked if CS just spins a roulette wheel to see who’s worthy of a reply. Also, thanks for removing all 1 star reviews! Face facts guys. Don’t spend money on this game.
